Michael Connelly writes while listening to jazz and his alter, Bosch, same. I loved this one although he does get a bit tidier in subsequent books. _____ It’s all Connelly/Bosch all the time. We NEVER leave him and I’m spoiled now. I hate the “Pulp Fiction” derivatives every one tries to market. One needs to BE Bosch just as Connelly needs. I listen to jazz frequently while reading, I mean being. -— Connelly and Bosch are the same personality type, 8 soil, mountain; in the Japanese system. The qualities are as we experience, very briefly: very smart and single-minded of purpose. -— Yeah, it could be boring, but it’s Bosch; and he/you are ALWAYS exciting. Every second with this guy ticks... If these were thrillers I’d wet my pants!
