I enjoyed watching Puss in Boots. I found the characters to be likeable, funny, and entertaining. The storyline is unique and creative, which keeps you engaged throughout the film’s entirety. I liked this spin on several different fairy tales, and thought that the story line was really well written. It is a very clever movie, which makes it interesting for people of varying ages. There is also a great balance of humour, action and adventure, which keeps the audience captivated. I would definitely recommend this movie to other viewers, especially younger audiences and families! I found it to be very enjoyable, and memorable. 4/5 @PenelopeScriptor of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board Puss in Boots tells the story of Puss, the sword wielding cat from Shrek and his story prior to meeting Shrek and Donkey. When Puss was a baby, he was abandoned and left at an orphanage where he met Humpty Dumpty who would soon become his best friend. When Puss is all grown up, he has become the hero of the town until, he is chased out of town for a bank robbery for which he had no part in. Later, his childhood friend, Humpty Dumpty, who isn’t really on good terms with Puss now, tries to recruit him on a job to steal the goose that lays golden eggs from two very dangerous people, Jack and Jill but, they cannot do this alone so another cat by the name of Kitty Softpaws joins in. Puss in Boots was really hilarious like the Shrek films and I really enjoyed watching it and I think it would be a great family movie to watch. I would rate Puss in Boots 4.5/5. @Grimvar of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
