Each and every one of the books in this series are a real treasure and this one is no exception! This is the cd version and I must say that Jane Entwhistle, the reader, is the best I've ever heard. I've read all the titles on cd and have loved each and every one. This title explores the relationships Flavia has with the inhabitants of Buckshore in greater depth. The charm of Bishop's Lacey and St. Tancred's is also a large part of the plot. I love the language in these books--no one does literary comparisons like Alan Bradley; he is the master. If you've read these books, it's well worth your time to have a listen to the cd versions of the titles in the series.
