*FANGIRL SQUEAL* I LOVED LOVED LOVED exploring this book! It's the complete script of the blockbuster musical Hamilton, with annotations by the original writer/creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. PLUS tons of essays on the main cast members and lots of big, beautiful full-color photos of the play in action. This book only made me want to see the musical even more! Full disclosure: I checked the book out of my library and actually considered "losing" it and just paying for it but it was a bit pricey. ;) (I wouldn't, really.) Nearly every detail in this book is perfect: even the paper used! It's thick and beautiful. My only tiny complaint: artfully "torn" beveled edges to the pages. I don't have words for how much I hate beveled edges. That's how much I loved this book: I want to own a copy, and it has beveled edges! lol At the advice of some colleagues, I listened to the soundtrack recording while reading it: good advice! I pass it along to you, the review reader. ;) Be ready to shell out money for theater tickets if you choose to read this book.
